Insurance Questions Answered...

1. Will My Insurance Cover Chiropractic Care?

Most insurance policies cover chiropractic care. These carriers recognize that chiropractic care effectively treats many conditions! Recent article published in the Journal for Managed Care cited chiropractic care as being more cost effective than conventional medical therapies in treating low back pain. It is a good chance that your insurance could also cover chiropractic care.

Auto injuries are typically covered 100% by your auto insurance company. Oregon State Law requires that all vehicles be insured with PIP (Personal Injury Protection) coverage. This coverage provides payment for any health care services you receive as a result of an auto accident, regardless of who is at fault and/ or regardless of the ultimate settlement for injuries received.

PIP includes payment for a maximum amount ($15, 000) in necessary health care services resulting from an accident, and covers only those services rendered within one year of the date of the accident.

If you’ve been hurt on the job, Workers Compensation Insurance also covers our services. Studies show that most on the job injuries respond quicker with Chiropractic Care than any other type of treatment!
